Loak Sully was born on the planet of Pandora, a lush and exotic world filled with bioluminescent flora and fauna. His father, Jake Sully, was a former Marine turned avatar who had fallen in love with the Na'vi people and their way of life. Jake had married a Na'vi woman named Neytiri and together they had three children, including Loak.
